Christmas Cardigans

I grew up in a small town and last year was our 20 year reunion.  I connected with old friends and as it turns out, an acquaintance of mine had a great idea and turned it into her own business.  The idea is Christmas card holders.

Many of us display our Christmas cards on the mantle and this product makes it really easy to do and they don’t fall over!

The website for her idea is:

Christmas Cardigans

Isn’t it great?!

Christmas is Coming!
In case you haven’t noticed, Christmas is coming.  There is no way to miss it at our house.  Last night I tried one of those Pinterest recipes…homemade peppermint marshmallows…and they turned out great!  Love me some Pinterest!

Then I tried peppermint meringues…

And peanut butter pretzel balls…

I hate you Pinterest!

Attack of the Gingerbread Men…er…Houses!
This past weekend was my marathon gingerbread house baking weekend.  I spent 11 hours baking 42 mini houses and 4.5 hours assembling them.  I won’t be signing up for that many next year.  Craziness!

For the full post on how to make these little beauties…

These boots are made for walking…
This post has nothing to do with anything…except cuteness!

Princesses and Knights Birthday Party

My dear friend had a boys/girls birthday party with the theme “Princesses and Knights”!  She did such a great job and allowed me to post the pictures here.

Above is the treat table and below is the dress up table with all the clothing and gear a princess or knight would need!

And she created crests for the door and entryway:

The walkway in front was lined with knightly banners, but unfortunately we didn’t get photos.  Here are some close ups of the awesome cake pops and goodies on the treat table.

You did such an awesome job Ashley! Thanks so much for letting me feature your party on my blog!

And here are my little knight and princess!  They loved playing dress-up!
