For those who follow my blog, you may remember a long time back I promised to post a photo blog of cocktails. I take a picture of every good cocktail, and apparently from my list of pictures, I have never met a cocktail I did not love.
The above drink is a special signature cocktail that was created for me by my bestie and the restaurant where we had my Fortieth Birthday Party.
The above cocktail is called Tracy’s Garden with gin, cucumber, basil and lime and topped with rosemary. This is served at The Whiskey Cake in Plano, TX.
This drink is called The Bee Sting and has tequila, jalapeno, grapefruit, lime, agave and contreau. This is found at The Whiskey Cake in Plano, TX. (No, I did not have both of the above drinks during the same visit there.)
This is a spicy version of a margarita from Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse in Dallas, TX.
This drink is called Eden’s Garden and has gin, St. Elder Elderflower, cucumber, mint, basil, jalapeno and lime juice. This is found at Pepper Smash in Plano, TX.
I don’t remember where I had this one or what it was. It must have been really good. The thing floating in the middle is an anise herb.
This drink is called the St. Germaine Stroll and has gin, St. Germaine elderflower liquor, cranberry, grapefruit and natura. This lovely drink can be found at Parigi in Dallas, TX.
This is the Seasonal White Sangria which has white wine, liquors and seasonal citrus. You can find this pretty drink at Fireside Pies in Plano, TX.
I don’t remember the name of this drink but it was very pretty, especially with the lights reflecting on the counter top. I had this while in Jamaica.
This one was called Jamaica Me Smile and has pina colada, strawberry dacari and rum cream. We had this at the resort in Jamaica.
These are more colorful drinks Marc and I had while in Jamaica.
Did I mention that Jamaica is a magical place?
This is called the Gator Punch Fish Bowl and is designed for 4 people. It is a combination of 6 liquors and served at Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe in Plano, TX. I added the second pic so you could gauge the size of that monster!
This is a standard Mojito I had at a restaurant called Bongo’s at Downtown Disney (part of Disney World) in Orlando, FL.
This was called the Lavender Lemondrop Martini which had lavender and lemon with vodka and who knows what else. I had this at the Navajo Grill in Fredricksburg, TX.
This is the Honeydew Champagne Spritzer, which is a Just Shy of Perfection original!!! (I’ve created some yummy non-alcoholic drinks as well, just view the recipes section.)
And last, but not least…
This is some crazy and awesome drink I had while on a cruise to Mexico in 2010. It was inside a decorated pineapple. Are you kidding me?!
I swear, I’m not an alcoholic!
