Easter Bunny Invitations- Free Download

Every year, as many families do, we have an annual family get-together for Easter.  The adults eat food and the kids hunt eggs and it’s a great time.  This year I wanted to make a special invitation the kids could help me make. For anyone who wants to make these next year, I have included a free downloadable printout.

Fuzzy Easter Bunny Invitations

Step 1: Purchase the Materials

You will need card stock for printing sturdy cards, glue or rubber cement, cotton balls, a multicolor or pink mini boa, and self-sticking or glue-able jewels for the eyes.

Step 2: Print out the first side of the bunnies

Print this attached free downloadable template for the front of the invitations.  It makes 2 bunnies approximately 5×6 per page.

Step 3: Flip over the printed pages and print the other side

You may want to try this a few times on regular paper.  After using the download above, use this second download to print the back side of the bunnies.  If you are using standard 8.5×11 cardstock, this back printing should line up correctly on the bunnies.

Step 4: Cut out the bunnies and check both sides

Step 5: Glue the decorations

I found using Rubber Cement worked better than regular glue, but either will work.  First pull apart the cotton balls into pieces and glue the strips onto the front of the card.  Then pull pieces off of the mini feather boa for the ears and tail and glue them on.  Lastly, stick on the eye and you are done!

Doc McStuffins Birthday

One of my friends recently had her daughter’s birthday party and the theme was Doc McStuffins!  So cute!  She even made her own pinata.  It was all quite impressive actually and the themed activities were the best!  Such an inventive person she is!

Shabby Chic Diaper Cake

I have a relative who is having a baby shower soon and I was asked to create a diaper cake for her.  I’ve never done one before (believe it or not) so I had to figure it out through trial and error.  The theme was already assigned and it was Grey and Pink Shabby Chic.  That theme is not really my forte, but I gave it a go!

I think it came out looking a little more elegant and blingy than shabby chic, but hey, I can’t win them all!

Angry Birds Birthday

For those who follow my blog, you know I usually put a lot of time and effort into my children’s birthday parties.  My son’s 5th birthday party fell a little short.  Not because I wasn’t willing to put in the effort, but because the venue he chose happened to be very restrictive.  Normally I bring in tons of extra stuff (goodies, vegi tray, fruit tray, specialty items) but this place did not allow anything except cake, ice cream and water.  Period.  What a let down!  Well, anyway, without further adieu, or otherwise known as excuse making, here are the photos of the party:

This cake was beautifully and deliciously crafted by Cakes-4-All in Carrollton.

And somehow, I failed to take a picture of the birthday table as a whole, but around the cake, we had wall stickers and hanging decorations.

And we had these amazingly cute goodie bags made by Fun Party Crafts who has a store on eBay.  These super cute bags were such a hit with the kids.  They are hand made with foam paper.
