Parmesan Crab Stuffed Brussel Sprouts

Parmesan Crab Stuffed Brussel Sprouts

Start by cutting the sprouts in half and boiling for 5-10 minutes until soft but not mushy!

Then arrange them on a cookie sheet and use a measuring spoon to scoop out inside of the sprout.

Then fill the inside with part of the crab meat mixture or portions of crab cakes.

Top with a slice of Parmesan cheese or the Parmesan bread crumb topping.

Broil lightly in the oven until the cheese is melted.

My first try at this was easy and good, but I decided to make a second version as well.

Parmesan Crab Stuffed Brussel Sprouts (version 1)

Brussel Sprouts
2 Pre-Made Crab Cakes from the Deli
Parmesian Cheese
Cut the Brussel Sprout in half and boil in a pot of water for about 5-10 minutes until soft but not mushy.  Place them on a cookie sheet and scoop out the middle by using a measuring spoon.  Break pieces of the crab cake and stuff into the brussel sprouts.  Cut off shaves of Parmesan and top on the brussel sprouts.  Broil in the oven on low until the cheese is melted.

Brussel Sprouts
Crab Meat
Feta Cheese
Grated ParmesanBread CrumbsOlive OilMix two tablespoons of grated Parmesan with two tablespoons of bread crumbs and a couple of dashes of olive oil.  Mix with a spoon until the mixture clumps together and set aside.  Cut the Brussel Sprout in half and boil in a pot of water for about 5-10 minutes until soft but not mushy.  Place them on a cookie sheet and scoop out the middle by using a measuring spoon.  Mix the crab meat with a handful of Feta chunks.  Fill the sprouts with the cheese crab mixture and top with the bread crumb mixture.  Bake in the oven on 350 until the cheese is melted and only slightly browned.
